ABOUT ME
CHRISTIAN NAYLOR
412-740-7847
I am an upcoming North Catholic senior in the graduation class of 2025. I have excellent academic achievements; and am an honor roll student with a 3.8 GPA.
I am a versatile player, starting this season on both defense as a Line Backer, and offense as a Running Back. I have unmatchable work ethic, am self-driven, lead by example, and I'm coachable and eager to learn. I'm explosive off the line, physical and quick with excellent field vision, patient, and have soft hands with impression directional and pivoting ability - I'm confident I will be a top contributor to North Catholic's season.
GET TO KNOW ME Q+A
What makes you so effective as a player between those lines?
I’m effective because I believe I have great field vision. I have a quick reaction time and I have positive leadership abilities that help my team mates.
If you were to play on the next level, what side of the ball do you think it would be on?
Offense. I feel really strong and comfortable on offense.
What type of leader are you on the field?
I’m a great communicator in the field. I lead with enthusiasm and positivity. When teammates have a bad play I hype them up and get them back on track.
What do you need to do to make a big time splash in your senior season?
I’d like to limit my mistakes and be as coach able as possible so I can get myself to the next level.
In terms of improvement, what is your main focus?
l focus on becoming stronger and faster on both sides of the ball
What do you feel separates you from other players.
I have a very strong work ethic. I make changes when I’m told changes need to be made. I’m very humble. I believe I am among the best players every time I step on the field and I’m honored to be playing along side of them. Don't get me wrong, I want to kick their butt. But I feel grateful to be playing the game.
What’s your best attribute on the football field?
Having the ability to catch the ball from any angle and turning up the field with it.
What is the biggest thing that you have learned playing football?
I’ve learned that you can’t win alone. Being part of a team is everything. I’ve also learned that you never know what you can do or how good you can do it until you try and then try again even harder.
